Food

Delicious food made on the farm from local ingredients, the freshly laid eggs come from our hens and the meat from a local butcher - we only use the best ingredients here at huts in the hills.

A welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, butter and bread will be provided on arrival

Please note that all food needs to be ordered at least 48 hours in advance.

BREAKFAST BASKET
£25 For two people for two mornings.

GARDEN
Avocado, egg, feta cheese, toasted seeds and sourdough.

FIELD
Homade nutty granola, seasonal compote, greek yoghurt, pastries, conserves.

FARM
Sausage, bacon, egg, mushroom, tomato.

OCEAN
Smoked salmon, egg, pastries, conserves.

Chilli Con Carne - rice, cheese and garlic bread.
Fish Pie - with minty peas.
Moroccan Lamb Tagine - served with cous cous and flatbread.
Normandy Pork Casserole - served with potatoes and green vegetables.
Chicken curry - served with rice and naan bread.

Any requests can be accommodated either for specific dietary requirements or if you are celebrating a special occasion. Picnics for a days walking can be made on request.


Cheviot

Our largest shepherd's hut, able to sleep 2 adults in a kingsize bed and a separate room with bunkbed and climbing wall for 2 children.

Hedgehope

Clad in green pitch pine with a large veranda and an outdoor antique French cast iron bath, Sleeps 2.

Dunmore

Our most traditional shepherd's hut situated in the paddock overlooking our flock of Valais Blacknose sheep, Sleeps 2.
